hmm... a company that prides in destroying bicycles will take care of your's... not the brightest shining idea in my view.
You could have had an ad that showed donating the cycles... perhaps to some 3rd world country where these old cycles would be Cadillacs and what a powerful message would that have send... Heck.. a few smiling 3rd world faces & you may even have received free TV & local news coverage!! + TAX credit & a good public image.
Instead, all u have is childish & immature acts.

Oh noes~! Those precious rusty old heavy bikes the stuckups could have paid good money for to ride to work every day~! Murderers~! Oh woe-is-me!
O rly? The dump here has many just like it, and they are just the same!
Go to the rubish tip and you too can own a Brand new 20 year old rusty bike all for one low price of $24.95! Who knows, you may be able to buy 10 to make 1 complete road going bicycle! YAEEAEAAAAAY!!!!!

I never hit a push cyclist while driving a car. I did hit a guy with a wheelbarrow when cycling to school in the dark - that would have been 53 years ago. I also got knocked off the bike by a driver at an intersection. Like today's push cyclists, I had no conception how vulnerable I was.

@HenryFalkner I think most people do their best to avoid cyclists. Also saying "I do my best" makes it seem like you have hit a cyclist before.

I was a push cyclist once. The things I did, I did not deserve to survive. Now I drive a Holden, and I do my best to avoid coming into contact with cyclists - especially when I am driving. - Anybody turn those trashed cycles into something useful - like motor cars?
