@StarWarsKid12321 Mary is not alive. the catholic church has absolutely no proof she is now in heaven and we are not to pray to the dead nor are we to address ANYOTHER NAME in our prayers except JESUS or the FATHER (GOD) not men or dead saints (so-called). catholics pray in the "name" of mary as if she is our saviour. She is not, she was born in sin just like everyone else. Jesus was born in sin but sinned NOT. Jesus alone is our saviour so ALL prayers MUST be addressed in HIS NAME ALONE.

@1978dagreat We ask Mary to pray for us because she is in heaven and is very close to God. She was a very holy woman and her prayers on my behalf strengthen me. It says nowhere in the bible that it is a sin to ask others to pray for you.

@StarWarsKid12321 The problem with this my friend is that the mother of Jesus, the only mediator between God & man is not alive. No one can prove by date, place, time or eyewitness that the mother of Jesus is alive inorder to do such a thing. More importantly, when Christ died on the cross & arose on the 3rd day he ascended to the right hand of the Father as our only intercessor. You and I only need to pray IN THE NAME OF JESUS Alone. Acts 4:12, 1 Tim 2:5, Heb 7:25, Rom 8:26,27,34, Matt 6:6.

@1978dagreat Actually, Catholics don't worship Mary, we ask her to pray for us. Have you ever asked someone to praay for you? Same thing. The end of the Hail Mary is "PRAY for us sinners now and at the hour of our deaths"
