F-86 pilot and Museum docent Lt. Gen. William Earl Brown describes flying the F-86 Sabre against the MiG-15 in the Korean War. MiG-15 pilot Ken Rowe, who escaped with a MiG-15 and delivered it to the U.S. after the war, gives his view on the two aircraft.
A North American F-86 Sabre and a MiG-15 are on display, nose to nose, at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.

Let's not forget that without the British donating free engines to the Russians for use in "electricity powerplants", engines that the russians immediately copied, the Mig 15 would never have even flown.
Thanks Britain !! (Not)

I was an A1C in the 335th Fighter Interceptor Sq. at K-14 Korea on Sept 21, 1953 and saw a plane landing from the wrong end of the runway. Didn't know at that time it was a MIG 15 but found out a few minutes later. Like every one else I got out my camera to get a shot of History, but.....the APs were required to open all cameras and expose the film. A few got through that had the small b/w 16mm spy camera smaller than a Bic lighter.
