Isn't the guy who plays the deputy in this (Mark Goddard) played Don West in "Lost In Space".
Saw him at a sci-fi con back in 1996, and he was full of stories of him and Billy Mumy taking studio carts on joy rides then ditching them on the studio back lot.

It's always been said that the real Johnny Ringo was educated and versed in classic literature as he was here, although in real life he was not so often on the right side of the law.
