Ah mid 14th century type bombards. Anyone knew we Belgians made a super-cannon & gave it to king James II king of Scotland in 1449? It's called Mons Meg, 50 cm calibered & still lying in Edinburgh castle . Able to fire up to 3 km from the castle's tower. It was unthinkable, even 450 years later at the period of Napoleonic campaigns.
