Kinnaur, September 12 (ANI): Situated in Kinnaur district of the northern state of Himachal Pradesh is a temple of Lord Krishna that is nestled in the middle of a small but majestic lake. Though primarily a Hindu place of worship it attracts devotees from different faiths. The caretaker of the temple is a Buddhist priest, Wangdup Tsering who has been serving the temple with utmost devotion for the past 40 years. It is believed that Pandavas, the five brothers from the epic Mahabharata, built the temple. Today hundreds of pilgrims throng the temple every year to celebrate the festival of Janamashtami or the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. They include Hindus, Buddhists and devotees from different religions who come here in the hope that their prayers and wishes will all be answered.
