John Lennon - Love (Cover)

Hola!
Me 'n' my nephew (known to you guys as Tranchera) were trying to nut something out for the Ukulele competition he's been trying to get us to enter,
and after he went home I got bored of that and decided to finish this, which I've been messing about with for a while now.

I wanted to upload it on December the 8th and be all meaningful (HA) but I'm going to be down south, so... anyhow.

Tis one of my favourite songs of his; very simple and to the point.

Keep in mind; I'm just having a bit of fun with this. I don't fancy myself as a singer; Music TAFE beat that notion out of me!

At first when I heard your voice I said "He can't possibly pull off John Lennon, it sounds very deep." Well you surely proved me wrong, that was fantastic. I have a deep voice too, any tips on how to soften your voice before you sing?

It's funny you should say that because I still reckon I sound way too round and dull on this one! Not being a professional singer, I just experiment when I sing stuff - when I did this, I found myself trying all kinds of shit like moving my larynx right up, stuff like that. I'd like to try it again actually, haha.

This is a great version with a comical aspect to it. You have a very pure sounding voice which fits in well with the original.
