That's the idea, but I don't know if it helps much. It's probably even better to plant complete dandelions (including roots) into the vivarium. At the time this video was taken, the hatchlings were so young that they were still thriving on their yolk reserves and hadn't started eating yet, so a full dandelion would have been overkill.

I never thought of putting the dandylion stems into the water to keep from wilting, because they wilt so fast. Thanks! 5/5
