The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a 9-part video documentary series about the John F. Kennedy assassination by Nigel Turner that began with two 50 minutes segments originally aired on 25 October 1988 in the United Kingdom, titled simply Part One and Part Two. The programmes were produced by Central Television for the ITV network, and were immediately followed by a studio discussion on the issues titled The Story Continues, chaired by broadcaster Peter Sissons. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments. In 1989, the series was nominated for a Flaherty Documentary Award. The series was re-edited with additional material into three 50 minute programmes in 1991, which were again shown by ITV. A sixth episode appeared in 1995. The series typically aired in November every year, but also from time to time during the year as repeats. But in November, 2003, when three additional segments ("The Final Chapter") were added by the History Channel, the consequences were so immense that the entire series is no longer aired, though the History Channel still sells DVD copies of the first six documentaries.

The ninth documentary in the series, titled "The Guilty Men", directly implicating former U. S. President Lyndon B. Johnson, created an outcry among Johnson's surviving associates, Johnson's widow, Lady Bird Johnson, journalist Bill Moyers, ex-President Jimmy Carter, Jack Valenti (longtime president of the Motion Picture Association of America), and the last-living (at the time of the outcry) Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. Ford, who lodged complaints of libel with the History Channel. They subsequently threatened legal action against Arts & Entertainment Company, owner of the History Channel.
The History Channel responded by assembling a panel of three historians, Robert Dallek, Stanley Kutler, and Thomas Sugrue. On a program aired April 7, 2004 called "The Guilty Man: A Historical Review", the panel agreed that the documentary was not credible and should not have aired. The History Channel issued a statement saying, in part, "The History Channel recognizes that 'The Guilty Men' failed to offer viewers context and perspective, and fell short of the high standards that the network sets for itself. The History Channel apologizes to its viewers and to Mrs. Johnson and her family for airing the show." Conspiracy author Barr McClellan, interviewed in the documentary, complained that while the historians examined the evidence, they did not interview him or Turner.

All three new documentaries by Turner ("The Guilty Men," "The Smoking Gun" and "The Love Affair") were then permanently withdrawn by the History Channel, though they were originally slated to be viewed at least annually on the History Channel until the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination (November, 2013). This is the 9th episode titled The Guilty Men, it shows Lyndon Johnson's direct involvement in JFK's assassination.

  • It is as simple as this. LBJ wanted to be President. His friends in Texas wanted certain things and the advantages and privileges (and lucre) that would come from having their man in there ... Lyndon Johnson. The Mafia hated Kennedy because of the war on organized crime and because they felt they put JFK in the White House, so they felt double-crossed. The CIA hated him for lots of reasons which are well documented. Thos e groups had been working together to kill Castro, but killed JFK.

  • Please don't make ridiculous claims against the Catholic Church, the Knights of Malta, the Jews and the Masons. Those groups had nothing to do with this awful murder, or the coverup.

  • "But first you must learn how to smile as you kill

If you want to be like the folks on the hill" ~John Lennon. Describes Johnson and company well...they were a dark chapter in American history. LBJ died 4 years after leaving the position he so keenly desired, speaking to a psychiatrist.

  • he got killed because he didnt do what the real controller (ooh shit sorry i mean leaders) of the world wanted him to do. and that web of evil is way to deep and big to be discovered by anyone!

  • @kroikye And part of that "confusion" is the spreading of false information better known as disinformation. Claiming that the Jesuits, Masons and the Knights of Malta had something to do with it is not only contrary to the evidence, but absolutely ludicrous. The Masons are a Protestant group who have historically been opposed by the Roman Catholic Church because Masons have tried to undermine the Church. There is no link between them. You're spreading disinformation.

  • Chris Pinto told us about this video and I looked it up. Here it is.

  • Yes, there is a lot of bad information on the internet, but lets face it. The internet could no doubt be considered the peoples salvation toward supplying American's and the world with very valuable information that might one day make a powerful influence on our minds to better lives.

  • wow. I don't have teevee so that was amazing.....and loathsome. Of course johnson and the boys are sociopaths. we did lose any chance of an honorable gov with Kennedy's murder. Johnson was a murderer his whole loathsome life through. it destroyed even an evil creature such as he. Pity that they had to apologize for the last part to the evil widow. And the babe that 'fell in love' - with the creature. how laughable is THAT?

    Tragic.

Great video, thanks so much :)

  • The CIA did it on orders from the Jesuit General, who also ordered 9/11. JFK had said publically that he did not trust the CIA, and wanted to Scatter it into pieces.

Rightfully so, it was being governed by Masons and Knights of Malta and Jesuits

the New World Order crowd could not afford to loose the CIA, Lyndon Johnson was in on it, but to say HE did it, is as ludicrous as the lone gunman theory.

Confusion is used as a weapon to keep the masses Guessing
