Goddamn! I wish you people would just shut the fuck up about the name change! Layne died. The rest of the band didn't. Layne wouldn't have wanted them to change the goddamn name. I suppose Jerry isn't supposed to play all the songs he wrote with AIC anymore either? Would you people rather they change the name and bury all that good music too? Or how about changing the name after the first bass player left? Enjoy what they're giving you , you flippin' retards.

What an opinion. That's the nice thing about opinions. They matter to you. And it seems Alice In Chains has a pretty high opinion of their new singer DuVall, because he's been in the band for FOUR years now. Changing the name because Layne is gone? It wasn't his band. He might have gotten more recognition but Jerry is the superior musician. I saw AIC monday and they were better than you can imagine.

You're a douche. The decision to keep the name Alice in Chains was a very good one in my book. Page, Jones and Bonham's son are going to unite with Chris Cornell (Something I heard, not fact as far I know) and they're going to use the name Led Zeppelin. Why, 'cause the original sound is still there. Next thing, you're going to say they should've changed the name when Starr left the band. Fuck you aand get the fuck over it.
