@flagellajello Sorry to break it to you but hockey players don't run the country. If Iggy wants to run this country, he should know it better, and his wife isn't even a citizen yet. Besides the fact that working in the US didn't ruin the liberals as much as his speeches, policies and personality. Hes an idiot and Harper is going to win the election and possibly a majority. Left wingers have given up on Iggy and are turning to other parties, especially Jack Layton. The Liberals are history.

@flagellajello I will agree with you on one thing though. If he were a hockey player wanting to play for a Canadian team it would not be an issue. BUT sadly, running a country or and being a professional athlete are a lot different.

@flagellajello The problem isn't him working in the US, it's the fact that most of his life has been spent OUTSIDE of Canada. Not to mention, while he was gone he didn't exactly pay a great deal of attention to Canadian affairs. I also have an issue with him wanting to be PM but having the WORST attendance record in the house of commons.
