  • Right on brah, Diggin the aloha shorts lol but maw good job brah.

  • @LEE187AA Thanks brah. I stay Mililani waaaay back. Guess my heart neva left so I rock da kine when I roll, lol!

  • I know it's not an Anaconda but Ryan Hall, Rafael Lovato Jr., and Cobrinha have all been playing with finishing the Darce/Brabo choke from the full mount, especially if the opponent tries to scramble to their back. It's sort of the opposite of the Jeff Glover style Darce finish where they drive up to their knees and you fall to your back/side and hip in to finish. I like how did the same thing here, but with the Anaconda. You should check Rafa Mendes for some badass Anaconda setups.

  • @WhtMike2006 Thanks for the info man! I haven't been rolling this year due to an injury but funny you mention it, I was just looking at the Brandon Quick Fade to Black series the other day about darce set ups. Let me know if the darce from mount works for you.

  • it is allowed to do judo like throws in this kind of competitions?

  • @mashitn1 Yes. I was just starting out then so I didn't really know how to properly throw. Pretty much everything but striking and small joint manipulation (fingers and toes) is allowed.

  • lol at the mats. good job dude, I love the daarce.

  • ghetto mat hehe. masking tape is the shizz

  • @ichujini depends on the rules for the specific competition.

  • @praetorian371 The Darce from the mount works great! it's not on that DVD though. it's a fairly new concept, and I've seen Ryan Hall do it a few times, I've seen Cobrinha do it, and I've also seen Rafael Lovato Jr. do it. When guys posture up, everyone knows you can fal to your back/side and do the Glover finish. If they go to the back, the full mount finish is VERY tight, and they get a nasty neck crank if they fight it. Remember to use your head a a post if you try it.

  • Awesome. I have been playing with finishing the Darce and also the Anaconda from the full mount lately with some cool results. Nice to see it done in competition.

  • @praetorian371 You forgot to mention that the inertia from the spin tightens up the choke which increases the effectiveness.
