This old gear drive saw was made in 1962, cuts pretty good. It's really slow because it's a gear drive, but it's unstoppable.

  • she cuts pretty good for the wear and tear I can see!

  • @ItsColdUpNorthh that saw is likely older than your parents. It didn't take too much to revive it, but the bar is pretty tired. 1/2" chain, too.

  • @jusportel haha wow! does that thing chug gas?

  • @ItsColdUpNorthh Not bad, actually, about the same as a 090. It burns 12:1 mix, though! Pretty thick stuff. It's really slow, but once she starts pulling, the old beast is unstoppable. If you don't dog it before starting a cut, you'll just about get pulled off your feet! It weighs over 30lbs.

  • nice

  • I was going to do a comparison video with my 070, but I lost my camera!! @#$%&!!#!!!!!

  • oh shit

  • Yeah, nice wood. That was a pole for a TV antenna for many years. The moss is because of the wet climate.

  • I looked at this again... God I'd love to get those logs on the wood mizer. They have moss on them, whats up wiyh that?
