Have anyone noticed that Foxman keeps putting words in Mr. Mershemier's mouth? He keeps saying that the authors of the "Israel Lobby" blames the jews for everything and that's not what these authors are saying at all. I read half the book so far and all they are saying is basically "Israel is a strategic Liability for the United States and the Israel Lobby does not represent the interests of the United States.

Israel, with an advanced economy receives US foreign aid in the form of billions of dollars annually. The Israelis in turn bring a portion of the money back to the US as a pro-Israeli slush fund to influence Congress. America is in deep trouble.

Professor Mershemier clearly lays out indisputable evidence that the Israel lobby has had undue influence on successive US administrations and their policies towards the middle east, which in many instances were against US national interests. It is time that there be a through strategic review of US foreign policy in respects to Israel.

My issue is that pro-israel zionists like foxman accuse anyone that does not support Israel a liar. With only accusations, Pro Israel zionists do not provide any academic evidence to support their brutal "name-calling" campaign. When someone critiques Russia for instance, Russians would not launch a "name-calling" smear campaign to protect is image to the world, so then why is Israel doing so. This is why Israel is under suspicion, because unless you have something to hide, you shouldnt care.
