Hello! Very nice! Hey, the MC808 is good as a live looper? How it works on the fly? Thanks

Actually the 909 based on a Fantom XV5050, so the potencial is on place.
With sampled sound used as waveforms (4 tone - 8 stereo sample per patch) You can really do ANYTHING with it.
The polyphonies part - You can sample a complete pattern anytime, using only one polyphonie on a single track.
Like a ping-pong technic with the oldschool multitrack recorders.

for me i think i would want mv8800 with a fantom synth engine in it. that would solve alot of problems of the 909, as far as storage, flexibility and value.
the mc909 is just so easy to bang out an idea and build on it, to a full song. its a beast still.

:) entertaining ;)

sick beats dude. lol at the beer + miller light shirt
which one do you like more, the mc808 or the mc909?
i have debated if i should have just gone for the 808 over the 909.
although i have now an electribe emx on the other side on my vestax pmc dj mixer.
that works better for me having a crossfader and effects instead of a mixing desk...

good question, honestly I prefer the 808, all my friends disagree, but I like 128voice polyphony, cf storage, however I use the 909's sequencer and screen a lot and wish the 808 had a bigger screen, and the 909 is the 808's slave in my MIDI setup
