By Bruce Lipton

Recent advances in cellular science are heralding an important evolutionary turning point. For almost fifty years we have held the illusion that our health and fate were preprogrammed in our genes, a concept referred to as genetic determinacy. Though mass consciousness is currently imbued with the belief that the character of one's life is genetically predetermined, a radically new understanding is unfolding at the leading edge of science.

Cellular biologists now recognize that the environment, the external universe and our internal physiology, and more importantly, our perception of the environment, directly controls the activity of our genes. This video will broadly review the molecular mechanisms by which environmental awareness interfaces genetic regulation and guides organismal evolution.

  • I dont understand why I havent been able to see two bruce lipton videos all the way through. Are we only able to see a part of the videos? Is there a place we can be refered to to see the whole video?

  • hmm you should be able to see the whole thing... i can :)

but you can download it here...

  • The point is not really how the mathematics work though. This is pretty much what Heisenberg's uncertainty principle is about. standintheforestfire's comment asked me:

"Do you know that quantum mechanics have no consequences on a macroscopic scale? Do you have proof, as in a paper done by a scientist?"

In fact, since the uncertainty principle is currently well-tested and used, the burden of proof in fact lies upon us to show that it has a connection to human consciousness and action. Thanks. :)

  • Recapping, the initial uncertainty of position is 1Å.

The uncertainty of momentum based on this is 10^-24 kg m/s.

We can then calculate the "uncertainty in velocity" since we know the mass and the uncertainty of momentum

    10^-24 kg m/s divided by 1kg is 10^-24 m/s.

Multiply this by the amount of time traveled and you get:

    10^-24 m/s * 10^3 s = 10^-21 m

This means a total uncertainty of position, after 10,000 seconds, of

    10^-10 m + 10^-21 m

Still about the size of an atom, i.e. really small.

  • Consider a body of mass 1kg and velocity 1m/s in the x-direction. Assume we can measure the position of this body, in a single dimension (x-axis) to an accuracy of 1Å (an Ångström, 10^-10 m, about the width of an atom). Then you can calculate the initial uncertainty of momentum, by the above equation, as Planck's constant divided by 1Å. This gives us 10^-24 kg m/s of uncertainty in momentum. Based on this we can calculate the uncertainty in position after 10,000 seconds of motion.

  • I saw another reply from you on here to someone else's comment to you... unfortunately it's been removed, so I can't view what prompted your response. Also, I don't have the ability to understand your presentation of the uncertainty principle... but , I guess my question is this: Is it possible Heisenberg was incorrect? Many scientists have been, only to have their conclusions updated as time goes on. if you could break it down for me more simplistically, I'd like to consider it again. Thanks!

  • Thanks for your thoughtful challenge to my skepticism. While I wouldn't be able to direct you to a "paper" on the topic (in fact, most published physics papers are beyond my comprehension) the higher-level theory is fairly simple. The uncertainty principle states that, for a particle, (delta x) * (delta p) > h / (2*pi), where delta x and delta p are the uncertainties in position and momentum, respectively, h is Planck's constant (really small, like 10^-34) and 2*pi is about 6.18.

  • Excellent video, this is how blood zapping and magnetic pulsing works. Find out more at electrobiotics . com ;)

  • I couldn't stop watching the two parts of this video. The best two and half hours of video watching experience I ever had. Best regards Dr. Lipton.

  • My tuning fork brought this documentary to my perceptional attention.
