This is an awesome app but it is far from free (no fault to you though since you posted when prices weren't yet available :0) ). You can download a 30 day trial but it actually costs 730 bucks for the most basic version (which doesn't even offer file renders or anything above 1024x1024 resolution) and the full version goes for about 3250 for hair and file output + 8k res. amazing program but way overpriced for what it does

its NOT for the normal users, its made for companies

The trial was not really easy to use :( Please make the software more easy for artists than developpers and i'll buy it :D

yup. but the bad thing is. as far as i know you have to program the stuff. there is no UI. but wait for 3ds max 2011 it will have a feature called quicksliver witch uses both GPU and CPU for rendering 10X faster
