@ManUntdFCfan Ozil was born in Gelsenkirchen. Boateng was born in Berlin and Gomez in Riedlingen I don't see why they shouldn't be German either when you follow that kind of logic. Just like Rooney isn't Irish and Welbeck isn't Ghanian people should quit thinking that Germany steals players when they were all born there and a lot of them have German ancestry too. Klose is from Silesia which has a large group of German speakers as well as Podolski.

Majority? I could name 2 people klose is a german surname as they come from a region with plenty of german immigrants. as far as I know Rooney is Irish, Welbeck is ghanian and I could come up with plenty of other examples. Racial purity is obselete nowadays my friend.
