9ers need all of our wide receivers to step up and alex needs to hav consistently good games if we want to win the superbow. During playoffs we had no receivers doing something other than vernyon davis and hes not even a reciever.

Definitely Dontavia could've made his presence known if he hadn't got hurt preseason. A real shame. Wouldn't have had to waste that time & $ on Edwards. Any idea how he's doing? Any chance he can come in postseason? the 9ers getting rid of Braylon with a week to go means they're prepping to bring someone in, hopefully to help bolster the depleted WR corps. If SF wasn't high on Bogan's abilities, they would've released him by now I'd think.

My prediction didnt get a chance to come true because he had a season ending injury. Oh well, I hope the 49ers draft a big tall Wr next year so we can beef up our Redzone production. Besides Crabtree and Morgan, none of our other Wr are good run blockers or can beat press coverage quickly enough to give the QB a target to throw to when he takes a 3 step drop. I felt like Bogan had the physical presence, speed and hands to exell in a WCO. Im pretty sure he would have out produced B.Edwards.

Bogan had a 6th-7th round grade. Could've easily been drafted. It remains to be seen if it was merely QB play that held him back last year.
