Nathan Rogers explains and demonstrates 3 throat singing styles

Nathan Rogers, son of Stan Rogers and nephew of Garnet Rogers, introduces us to a type of singing that is very far from his Canadian folk roots, but at the same time a marvelously traditional form of singing!

Sorry about my son talking through part of the video! He is young and spontaneous, AND he thoroughly enjoyed the show!

P.S. Before anyone starts commenting about how lame people were to laugh during the presentation, Nate predicted they would before he started and said that he himself laughed when he first heard throat singing. So the crowd had his blessing to do so!
