Randa Kamal Raks Sharki oriental dance performance رقص شرقى

This is the wonderful and dynamic star dancer Randa Kamal. This performance of hers never fails to make me smile and feel good :)
Please notice the live drummer - his play is beautiful. Not too dominant for the music, a very nice addition to the pre-recorded music in my opinion.

She was trained in ballet and folk dance by distinguished masters, but says she never had oriental dance training. She is my favorite contemporary dancer, I love her feminine strength and athleticism, yet sometimes she can be so lyrical in her interpretation. She's a great dancer, but I really don't like that body. It's unnatural, especially (obviously) her breasts. Also this is the first bellydancer I've seen that uses oil on her body like a greek wrestler.

@MLFive for the oil: don't hate on the girl, she uses it to conceal stretch marks from a pregnancy on her tummy :) she uses oil and glitter, and I heard someone say the stretchmarks are visible when seeing her without the wrestler touch, but not with it :))

@dinavienna I don't care if she uses oil, glitter or whatever she wants to use. I dont care if she has stretch marks either. I wonder why people are so superficial and malicious and judgemental of others. I love the way she dance and that's it. Also, i dont care if she elevate her brest up to her head, if she feels confortable with that who I am to said otherwise , right?

@MLFive I love Randa's dynamism. A body type can be shaped through training. It's a dancer's choice. Since this is an aesthetic art, it's most important to come out as pleasant as possible. So, it's good to hear personal opinions. For the oil... it is distracting. If it is for the stretch marks, makeup would so a better job with foundation, powder and glitter to conceal it.

why do ppl talk sh1t about someone sharing their talent, she's great and who cares about the oil I thought we are here tosee her dancing that's her choice to put on some oil on her body whatever her reason is. If she is a mother with stretch marks and chooses not to show them than fine. Actually i think the oil makes her look sexier :) .. GREAT TALENT
