A picture is worth a thousand words.
But when it's captured by a child it can mean so much more.
During a recent trip to Honduras with World Vision, /A\ News reporter Louise Hartland watched as children learned how to take photographs; capturing their favorite things, people, and places.
A similar assignment was given to a class of children here in Victoria.
Despite the differences in their living situations, these children are more alike than even their teachers may have thought.
The World Vision Photography Exhibit happens on Saturday, February 26, 2011, from noon to 3pm at our /A\ Vancouver Island studio at 1420 Broad Street in Victoria.
