@DES3450 He was replaced because he thought the show is going to be produced in California as initially dealt with, but it was Montreal that produced the show, that's why he decided not to continue as host.

If I Hosted Chain Reaction, I would have the Same Rules as the Dylan Lane Version, but the Set would look like the Geoff Edwards Era, and of Course, I would have the Butt Kicking 1980 Theme Song.

For those of you in Canada, what station did this air on in your local affiliate because I don't remember seeing this on USA with Emmons as host here in the U.S.

I have seen a clip of Blake Emmons being a contestant on "The Joker's Wild" hosted by Bill Cullen.

I'm glad they decided to go with Geoff Edwards not too long after this. After Geoff took over, announcer Rod Chalabois started appearing on camera for the "home" game because of the Canadian content rules for television, due to this show being taped in Montreal.

One guy on the net said that Emmons shouldn't have been allowed to even OWN a TV.
