I wrote the lyrics to this during church one day a couple of months back *before February after October* and wrote the music that day on the stage in the teen building. Took me around an hour and a half to do that.

This is the acoustic version, with no drums or bass. It was performed 5-31-09 for Synergy service at my church.

Obviously I wrote this from the perspective of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. This is the first Christian song I've ever written and I hope you all enjoy it. I was singing like that at the end cause I wanted it to be more poweful singing, and I can see that I've deffinetely gotta work on that. Originally when we practiced it, we had used drums so the way I sang went more with it, but we went acoustic here and nobody told me, but thank you for the feedback anyways.

Nice job, Cory. My only suggestion is that you lighten up a bit on your ending lyrics. It sounded like you were forcing it a bit there. Apart from that (even being atheist), I still think it's a pretty decent song. Especially based on the fact that you wrote all the lyrics. You have some real talent on your hands.
