I'm just going tell you that this is very dangerous....prayer or no prayer! It's a cheap version of the Ouija board. I've had names and words written on paper I didn't remember writing. Also, some bad things. I never hold a pen in my hand without concentrating on what I choose to write. It's happened in school and at home when I was writing lyrics to my songs. I am a Christian, so I do not know why these things have happened to me. It is very real. Evil lurks everywhere. Just be careful.

@neurostare Oh, it is man. It is a complex area of study; then again, the paranormal itself is a complex area of study! I know that I would be more inclined to believe that the cross correspondence work with Piper and others was genuine spirit contact than most other cases; most other cases are easily explained as unconscious mental creations or even telepathic reconstructions... See the complexity? Haha!

@429Cage hmmm....tell me if you find anything on that. I really can't see it as anything else than the subconscious stringing together a stream of consciousness in a way that makes sense to our logical center. Wow that seems complicated :P

One of the more interesting cases of automatic writing is that of "Patience Worth". Several volumes and poems were allegedly channeled from her spirit. A more interesting case is the cross correspondence tests done by the SPR with Leonora Piper and other mediums at the turn of the 19th century. Sadly, we still don't know if the "spirit writing" is anything but unconsciously generated material. Perhaps the odd coincidences are telepathy and not spirits at work -it is a field open for debate.

ok ALL of u listen up including video owner.. i knw a lot abt this stuff , automatic writing is VERY dangerous IF U ARENT A PROFESSIONAL OR NOT WITH A PROFESSIONAL DO NOT , EVER DO THIS... an evil spirit can take over the pen and pretend to be a good spirit it will give u answers which arent write but at some point ull start beliliveing in them ,, u dont always get a good spirit :P u need to be witha professoinal..
