just missed 60. the 160's wud beat that no problem

The 75-footers are heavier than 60-footers, but they don't have difficulties in getting to speed from a stop. Each of their motors have at least 15 more HP to compensate for extra 15 ft. of length. The only real tradeoff of 75 footer's they're more difficult to brake, but no older 60-footer cars match the R46 & R68's smooth ride.

THE QUICKEST TRAIN SPEED I HAVE EVER SEEN ON A NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY TRAIN WAS THE A OR C TRAIN BETWEEN BROADWAY NASSAU STREET AND HEIGHT STREET BROOKLYN BRIDGE IN THE TUNNEL 57 MILES PER HOUR.

60 M.P.H is way faster the Train operator is almost there and is quicker like the R160s goes
-
wow! it can almost do 60mph!
-
how did you gett in there?

Hey, it's almost like in Russia. There are musicians like that one in the video. But they perform different songs, of course. Not Spanish.

My bad, I only compared the now retired phase I R32 trains (only 60footers w/ 100 hp/motor) with the 75footers. Still, the R46s are no slugs. They can still easily reach 48 MPH on flat track, one time that's what I've noticed on an odometer, when conductor left the door ajar, after leaving Roosevelt Avenue (to Manhattan). I hate the 7 line. Only one local is bypassed by every 7 express train during PM rush hours, compared to the E & F express in Queens that bypass up to 4 local R & V combos.

yeah, i noticed that when taking an r142 2 train to the brooklyn bridge, it was so much faster than an R160. If their speed wasn't restricted, i am sure that the R142 would beat the R160.
why was this Q train going to queens ?
