Around the World in 80 Dishes takes you to France, with a demonstration of a classic recipe for individual Grand Marnier Soufflés prepared by Chef Lou Jones of The Culinary Institute of America.
@2hotinaz : I forgot, before you add the souffle mixture to the souffle dish, you first coat it with butter, add sugar, swirl to coat the butter with the sugar, pour out the excess then add the souffle mixture, pop into the hot oven and cook for recommended length of time for amount of mixture.
Wait, This is for crepes suzette, NOT Grand Marnier souffle! WTF? A souffle does NOT start like this, but rather by separating the eggs, beating the whites till stiff, then separately beating the yolks til thick, adding the Grand Marnier and other flavours, then folding the two together. You then put it into an oiled souffle dish and bake til done. Easy peasy, but THIS is NOT, I repeat, NOT a souffle!
ok. That was weird. It's titles "Grand Marnier Souffle". But they made Crepe batter. Didn't make the crepes. Just the batter. They say "click the next video to see how to cook them." But there isn't another video. Is it just me?
How much milk? How much flour?
