Sinceramente, o Brasil, fracassa sempre, motivo de orgulho em que? Futebol? Carnaval? E as nossas raízes empresas legitimas? que carrega sem vergonha a nossa bandeira? @gonudobudo I am not sure about how far you are informed, but foreign investors were interested in buying VARIG - well part of its capital due to the Brazilian legislation. One of the sad details in VARIG's collapse is that it happen too early, i.e. some months later a series of new airline companies were established in Brazil and one of them by an American-Brazilian citizen: the owner of Jetblue and Azul. He would have been the right person to save VARIG with other foreign investors.

i remember when i was a little kid i saw my dad coming back from a flight with a big smile on his face and i asked how was your landing and he said better than ever
