@bolleSailor Really? You think giving my son the gift of being able to play Bach partitas stupid? Why? perhaps you think it will never happen? He is 11 y/o and already learning the first movement of this partita. His violin teacher was considered one of the top 10 teachers in the world by Menhuin. You think spending thousands each year as well as hundreds of hours driving him to lessons, orchestra rehearsals, performances etc etc selfish??? We are not rich - I go without so he can play Bach.

heh try downloading this clip and play it half speed in media player classic (click backwards button while its playing ) and you still have an impressive cello solo!!
