@Tigerlily21 Absolutely. I dont think enough of them undertand how hard it is to put on that much wieght then try to lose it post production... That takes some serious dedication... not to be taken lightly.

@Tigerlily21 Honestly I think the people who instantly get an oscar nominations are the ones that don't give a crap about the Oscars but just want to be challenged as an actor are the ones that usually get nominated because the Oscars are second nature to them. Unlike actors who clearly do the role for an Oscar, usually don't get recognized.

Thank you Joe Pesci, i get so sick of people saying that just because an actor gets into character physically, they are begging for an Oscar. They say that same shit about Charlize Theron too when she was playing a woman who was supposed to look that way. These people are being brought to the screen and an actor was going to play them. Stop all the cynical "Oscar begging talk". De Niro gave a great performance and that's what matters.
