Great Video's...have ordered my Well D90 and just had a quick question, how far does the barrel extend from the stock 8-9 inches or so?

Just finishing up mine with a bull barrel. Will post a vid later. Having to tweak the trigger bar. Will post a vid when done.
Thanks for posting your videos. Would have never even occurred to me that ut was possible. Having a great time.

Thanks for the vids. I just complete mine and it turned out very well. I took about 8 hours total.I put a hi-power scope on top and a laser on the side. Both sighted in100% accurate. Thanks again for the idea...i LOVE IT!

I have two large router tables. I think it would be cool to have your template made from 0.4.0 aluminum or high density plastic like 1/8th in. Sintra. If you can email me a traced pattern will make you a couple.

kinda looks like halo battle rifle.

For those who continue to worry about heat you can go the route of metal heat shields as has been pointed out by other commentaters or you can also try a a product called Heat Shield.
Heat Shield is a paint that contains ceramic and is used by guys who build RC jets models to protect the body of the aircraft from the heat of the jet engine.
I've used this stuff inside the handguards of an AK rifle with great results.

I honestly anticipated there would be heat issues too. First, there is almost no direct contact between the hot-spots of the Ruger and the plastic. Second, the Ruger just doesn't get hot! I've shot many rounds through my Ruger and the barrel just gets warm. The plastic of this stock has a relatively low softening point- Around 200 deg. F it gets soft and pliable. So heat proofing isn't a bad idea. But... it would take a lot of effort/abuse to get the gun to that temperature.

What about taking it apart so you can clean/lube the internal parts like the bolt? The stock does come apart doesn't it? Or is the receiver stuck in there?

Definitely you can open it up to remove the Ruger action for cleaning. It only takes a couple minutes.

I put a link in this video for our new video of the P90 being fired. I haven't had any heat issues with it, the Ruger just doesn't get very hot.
