~EDIT~ Gormok's Impale only ticks for damage every 2 seconds, not every second. ~EDIT~

  • Are you resisting Icehowl's freezing breath?

  • It's entirely possible to resist (and that I was resisting) his freezing breath (as of my current knowledge). However, when it isn't resisted, I've been known to use my Human Racial ability to get out of the immobilizing effect.

It's also useful to have Frost Resistance Aura or a Frost Resistance Totem down to mitigate some of the damage. Hope that answers your question. :)

  • Thank you, it did. Wow that was a fast reply too. Are other tanks (I'm a NE druid) able to resist as well if we have frost resist gear? Also our main tank is a human warrior.

  • I happened to be checking my e-mail when I responded. :)

Again, to the best of my knowledge it's possible for any tank to resist the stun and the frost damage.

Is it useful to have frost resist gear? Probably not, but it's up to the individual player, since he targets a random raid member when he does the Freezing Breath. Any resistance totem/aura will usually do the trick.

Warriors would probably stand to gain the most out of any type of resistance gear, but again, it's not really needed.

  • Great video, very clear and explained very simply, much easier than reading a block of text, thanks very much, hopefully my guild will be doing this soons once half the members are back from Hols XD.

Anyone can tell me the comparative difficulty of 10 man to Ulduar 10 or Naxx 10?

  • Much appreciated!

The fights in TotC-10 give loot that is a moderately higher item level than Naxx and Uld-10, which in and of itself means that it's slightly more challenging. In order of difficulty ranking I'd say Naxx-10, Ulduar-10, and then TotC-10. Think of it this way If you have Naxx-10 gear, you're good for Uld-10. If you have Uld-10 gear, you're good for TotC-10.

Friendly reminder? Heroic TotC (5-man) drops Ulduar-10 level gear.

  • What's your deal, Czech? Everyone makes fun of people for playing WoW, as if it's any different than the people sitting on Xbox live playing Rockband, or Call of Duty all day long every day. Blow it out your ass.. If you don't like the game, don't open a video just so you can leave a comment poking fun at players.

  • Good vid my guild is about to attempt this were just watching the vid first

  • nice video great explaining but i cant see why u who are a prot pally dont use divine protection at all?? combine Divine protection with glyph of salvation will give u a 70% damage reduction, think of it like sorta shield wall witch u can use every 3 mins, since thats the CD of it, just a tip.. i know it would have saved u when u died to.and Divine protection dont causes u to lose agro either, its sorta semibubble removeing 50% of ur damage taken

  • I enjoyed your video it was very informative but I found you to kinda' make the game sound too strategic and boring hehe. =]

  • Thanks!!
