hahaha i just noticed that at the end of Paul's speech he thanks his wife Trisha, then the camera cuts to his family sitting at the table and their kid is waving her arm in the air!

@1GoodRiddance You're welcome :) Oddly enough I was JUST reading an interview with Paul where they mentioned this very subject:
In the end, he went to the Hall of Fame ceremony to celebrate Joe Strummer's legacy and to support his widow, Lucinda. 'I wasn't comfortable, though. I just hate all those bloody awards ceremonies. There's too many of them and they really don't mean a lot to me. It's that looking back thing again. It's not what the Clash were ever about, and it's not what I'm about.'

@1GoodRiddance Before Joe died, Paul didn't like the idea of accepting the award and reuniting for a performance in front of a crowd where the seats cost thousands of dollars. He thought it wasn't in the spirit of the Clash (he was right, and I'm sure Joe would've agreed with him). After Joe died, however, he decided he would go to honor him. Joe was really excited about making the HOF, so Paul went for Joe.
