Mr. Zhong Zhenshan is one of the main representatives of the fifth Generation of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. Westerners are easily confused by the two Wu Styles because they sound the same. Actually, they are two different Chinese characters and their tones are different. This Wu Style is the third tone (Wu3) and the other one is the second tone (Wu2). The founder of this Wu Style is 武禹襄(wu3 yu3 xiang1) and that of the other Wu Style is 吴鉴泉(wu2 jian4 quan2). This Wu Style was from Chen Style and Zhaobao Style while the other Wu Style is from Yang Style. Since Hao Weizhen(郝维真), the third generation of Wu3 Style Tai Chi Chuan, this style has also been called Wu/Hao Style or Hao Style. However, Hao Weizhen made some changes to original Wu3 Style Tai Chi Chuan in order to make it easy for more people.
