Create your own Project Natal / Kinect game

Proof-of-concept of hand controlled car game utilizing 3D time-of-flight camera from Fotonic (www.fotonic.com). The car game was developed in Unity (www.unity3d.com) and is based on a tutorial.

Did you use OpenCV? If so I really want to learn more about it. I've already looked into it quite a bit but what is the concept of the 3d point cloud, can it be achieved with realtime motion tracking or solving or are you using some type of special device? Please, any information would be highly appreciated.

@patricklorio The camera from Fotonic delivers 3D point cloud in real time, we then used OpenCV for the simple image processing to detect the position of the hands in 3D.
