"Flying Into The Light" - A composition of the band called Upanisad Jazz
The group plays an improvisative and meditative music. From a point of view this music is based on the style and tradition of Indian raga and another etno elements (eg. from Africa), but at the same time it has connections to "contemporary music" and "jass", too. Preferred personalities from "classical" and "contemporary music" are follows: Bartók, Kodály, Messiaen, Sankar, Kurtag, Chinmoy, Szokolay. Jazz-rock is also transplantated into the compositions. It gives exciting improvisative sound-effects for the compositions. Our main idoles in this point of view are Mihály Ráduly and Jackie - Miklós - Orszáczky, both of them from famous group Syrius (1971- 2001, Australia and Hungary).
