@sweetypie000 110 years eh??? Will you live that long yathink? lol It's quite apparent a lot of posters don't read what they type before hitting Post icon! Can someone TRANSLATE this phrase below for me ???????
@oktexchic I could hardly understand a word either one said, and I wear a hearing aid. CC would have helped me a lot, but other than that is was a good presentation.
@sweetypie000 I have a Champion and an Acme or Omega centrifugal juicer. They are very durable units, both with their strong points. The Hurom is a nice gadget, but time will tell as far as durability and especially parts and service. It looks like some have already had problems.
@tiatdivad hi, yes I have the MKiII with the new parts. Sure the pulp ejected is pretty dry with harder vegetables like carrots but cucumber isn't so dry. I just find whatever is juiced the juice itself is pulpy which kind of defeats the pulp being dry as clearly not all the juice is extracted if it end up as a mush in the ejected juice.
just looking on ebay for a suitable strainer to put over the top of the collection jug now but if I could I'd have sent the juicer back and got an omega 8006
@tiatdivad mine is 10 years on motor and 5 years on parts which I have been informed has been reduced by Hurom globally to 110 years motor and 1 year on the parts.
however, for over £300 you wouldn't expect to have to buy a sieve for these things and even more annoying is they don't include one.
Trust me, i'm juicing correctly. Even with carrot theres pulp in the juice
re: the stopper - rubbish ! the stopper is purely for cleaning the chute. If it is left open it accumilates debris around the base area and will eventually cause damag by forcing the bowl upwards. Trust me, I'm a consumer and know what i'm talking about and have nothing to gain and in fact have lost a great deal of monet with this Hurom Mkii device which incidentally you can't return once used one.
good luck but opt for a 9300 omega imo of a twin auger
@BIGTROUT01
How has the Hurom been holding up? I'm looking into buying one. Would you recommend it over a centrifugal?

@tiatdivad well, they just reduced their warranty from 5 years on parts to 1, so you can guess
