  • Awesome! But where is part 2?

  • @claxor There is no part 2 to this one.

  • gah, im not hearing the tone... got it set up exactly as you said... and iv checked the dsp settings... im on macbook pro... any help please?

  • @gix10000 dunno - it could be all sorts of things. go to the Extras menu and open the Audio Tester. Under "Source" choose Oscillator. If you are hearing nothing there, and your audio settings look right it'll make me say hmmm? Did you buy Max/MSP? Cycling74 let you buy just Max for an extremely cheap price, but it doesn't do audio (MSP). They really shouldn't do that.

  • @BazTutorials ah.... if i open up max and start the audio test i get a tone... and i can keep it playing through opening a new patcher, and i can put an object box in, but the moment i turn that box into a cycle~ or insert an ezdac it turns off the audio and the waveform in the tester freezes up.

i then have to restart max to get audio working in the tester again... any ideas?

  • @gix10000 reckon you either bought Max (without MSP), although I would have thought audio wouldn't work at all. or maybe you are using a crack?
