Fantastic cover, i have not heard the original - i heard this one first and was very very impressed ;-) I would consider it quite a finger buster on the technicality and rhythm front :-)

It is Dropped D. DADGBE. BTW, I always put the tuning in the description.

Warren, I am still searching for the tabs to this song and it seems I can buy Don Ross tabs on candy rat. Since i use your videos to learn songs, I am wondering if you can give me advice on how to record guitar to my laptop in stereo and/or how to record videos with your sound quality? thanks if you can,
Chris

Hi Chris, I just use a Zoom H4 as a stereo mic connected via USB to the laptop. Often I separate the audio track and do some processing through GarageBand.

You know I never really liked don ross before, but I've been checking out your vids and you've opened my eyes to some cool new songs. Thanks!

Don has a couple of different modes it seems. A lot of his recent stuff is very groove-oriented, by I tend to gravitate to his more melodic pieces. Same with Andy McKee.

Nice! Very well played. But does anyone else with the Bearing Straight record find it annoyingly low in volume?

Thanks. Bearing Straight has a lot of headroom on the recording probably because they produced the vinyl and CD versions from the same master.
