Viking Line - Helsinki Celebration

Over the past 50 years, travel across the sea has got more usual.

year 1959; Viking Line was created in the islands of Finland.
It started it's traffic the same year with "s/s Viking", an old steamship from the early stage of 1900.

year 1985; they reached a new era, with glory and fasination, as the beautiful ship "m/s Mariella" went in to service. A route between Stockholm - Helsinki was now operated with Mariella & Olympia.
Sisterships built by Finlands top yards, and Mariella was the worlds largest cruiseferry.

today 2009; after 25 years of faithfull service on the route, we celebrate her, and the other ships in the fleet with this movie, so... sit back, relax and enjoy!
