Leading from the Front

Over the past year, business leaders have endured one of the most challenging economic climates in decades. In this session we hear from those who have emerged from the crisis stronger than ever. What can we learn from their leadership in developing strategies to thrive during difficult times? What has been the impact on their approaches to innovation, product life-cycles and brand management? Do changes represent a long-term shift or will things eventually return to normal?

Keynote: Don Tapscott (Chairman, nGenera Insight & Author)

  • These europeans have taken over the US economy. They owned 10% in 1990, by now it's 95%...boycott all european priced food and clothes(beer too losers). That will drive them out.

  • Yes, right, some of the concepts... maybe under his speech was the current of non-profit, but he didn´t say it loud... well, maybe it is just tactics... But for me, if you're not talking about shuting down business, you:re not talking about freedom... that's why I used the word "opposite"... Plus using the name Zeitgeist generates questions - why the same name, when there's not the same will (or courage)? Peace to you

  • @ilbanito You're absolutely right. Doesn't make it opposite though :p

But anyway, the concepts applied in his speech can also be applied to project organisation structures that could very well be non-profit.

  • @Ihas3pair The real Zeitgeist movement is FOR using science to liberate us, but is AGAINST business, that enslaves us. Zeitgeist movement is about liberation from a power structures, it sees technology as a way to help ANY and ALL of the people, free of charge, unconditionally. To help them to be independent on anything, except the Mother Earth's health. These are businesmen here, they still want to profit and rule. That's what I see.

  • @ilbanito so it is against using science and technology to liberate us from labour and against sustainability but for never ending growth?

  • this is not the zeigeist movement - this is the opposite

  • @moonsalam If Youtube is any indication the world would end up being governed by a bunch of nasty twits making every decision in smack talk.

    "Wanna annex this country?"

    "What annex mean?"

    "Yo mama biatch!"

  • @JonYodice Did you notice in the intro 'geist' was in Google-colors? ZG is an UN enterprise. And the UN is a corporate enterprise. The goal of the UN has always been this One World Order. On corporate level this is called globalization. But to get a form of global social unity they need (something as) ZG and internet. Iow, ZG is a corporate enterprise. To ´unite the world´. It all sounds ideal. But if this utopia is run by the same corporations that gave us WWII, Vietnam, 9/11, WOT... Think!

  • did he say Archbishop Mandela? doesnt he mean Tutu?

  • I need to be told what this has to do with TZM. these people dont even know what the word zeitgeist means
