@hexkwondo Actually, the SMS had better sound because they had an FM addon, while Nintendo did not. If you wanted better sound in the NES games, what the developed did was that they made their own mapper/sound chips for certain games. Konami's VRC-7 chip is a combination of a mapper chip and a Yamaha YM-2413 synthesizer. However these special mapper chips were used for the Japanese Famicom releases only.
@Caztro72 Europe only, along with Australia and Brazil. When Renegade was released on the Master System, the Japanese market for the console was already dead for some years.
@EvilTB Regardless if the SMS had more data or what, Rengade to me... looks a hell of alot better and plays just as good if not better. But double dragon on the other hand is better on the NES.
Wow I always loved Renegade on NES. I never knew it came out for SMS and honestly it looks a SHIT loud better than the NES version! I love how when u lose, ur ass gets thrown in a dumpster. fuckin classic! HAHA
NES wins! Seriously. Renegade was released on the NES at the same time beat-em ups were being popularized by Double Dragon in the arcades, Renegade was released on the SMS when people were beginning to get sick of the Streets of Rage and Final Fight series. Much of the differences between the two games can be attributed to the fact that the cartridge for the SMS version held eight times more data.
Toller Vergleich. Ihr vergleicht eine 6 Jahre neuere Version. Was für Helden.
