  • As a child, this guy was my worst nightmare. It took me months to finally bring him down when I played through this game.

Really when you think about it, Pokemon was so simple back then (compared to what it is today). It was all about type matching, I'm sure EVs and whatnot weren't even a thought.

  • You know what really annoys me about Challenge cup? The fact that you got to clear it 8 times to beat the game.

I really hate this cup when I was a kid, I really do.

  • They can't be rentals, they're well trained and have move sets that they'd actually benefit from.

  • Shiny electabuzz :p

  • @sjjha Thats what she said.

  • @genuinescorruption With me against the gentleman, I would always rely on my neigbhor friend to beat him all the times. The reason being, this guy spams switching. :/

you think this guy is hard, then wait till you get to Round 2!!!

  • im kinda amazed how the grafics r in this game

  • I may be able to help you with that. I can transfer VHS tapes to video files.

  • Nah, I'm much better (not to brag). If I could afford the technology, I'd upload my Stadium 2 tapes onto YouTube, too.

  • I LOVE Challenge Cup! Getting to test out Pokemon with moves that you'd otherwise need to breed multiple generations of, is awesome! It's my favorite thing about Stadium 2!

And although most people reset when they get Pokemon with crappy moves in it, THEY actually tend to be the most powerful. What they lack in usuable moves, they make up for in luck, by giving you easy Paralyzing with electric moves or multiple Critical Hits. Those underdog Pokemon in Challenge Cup are amazing!
