Hi this works on GSM and GPS so to get the best accuracy both signals need to be received by the tracker. The location is obtained by the GPS signal but is then sent via the GSM signal.

If the GPS signal is lost, when you request the location it will give the last location it had a signal. once it gets a signal it will return the location.

I have a question? Does this GPS depend on a phone networks to send location? My concern is, what if it is out of the mobile phone network coverage? Thanks for your help

Can you get the tracker to work or are you having problems with it?

The reason why I ask if you have had it working is so I can point you in the right direction.

It is a live tracker so those use a mapping system to track live targets, who ever you got it from should have informed you about the mapping system.

Why do you want to know who the maker is?

@TheJoooooooy There are many makers of these trackers in china, obviously someone came up with the idea and everyone else copied!

There is some detective work that can lead you to the possible maker. Look at the mapping system name!

I've used it to track my bike when I had to park it in certain areas of the city, its great but not incredibly gr8. I mean it has a lot of functions but tracking is not accurate.

My bike was parked in front of my house and it was tracked like it was 100m far from the real position, inside some house, not even on the street.
