The R42 still run on the J/Z lines. I guess the R42 has more year to run on the J/Z since the R160 order is complete in 2009 then when the R160 take over all the J/Z lines then the more R42 will move to the A,C and E line. I bet that the R42 might run on the F and R lines since the R32 will retire like in 2009 or 2010 because the R32 runs on the F and the R line so that why i guess the R42 might also run on the F and R line to replace R32s since the R32 are retiring in one more year.

oh no! NYC doesn't have nearly the money Philadelphia does for transit. SEPTA's trains are far more reliable, newer and a LOT faster.
NY always skimps on transportation.
