Wrong. There was no streetcar service on Dundas for an extended period in Giambrone's ward, and the reason given was lack of ridership. On Dundas West. So, no.
In the resulting outrage in the community, Giambrone restored service.
I have seen the TTC report that says that the parking has no effect on TTC times, but he represented that to Council as the reason to destroy the commercial viability of his ward -- an arrangement that exists nowhere else in Toronto.
