possibly one of the most innaccurate, unfair and simply ignorant posts i have ever come accross on youtube...... firstly how the HELL is he overrated?!..... he gets virtually no recognition whatsoever, anywhere but sweden..... and is NEVER mentioned amongst metal bassists..... even metal ones! (and btw, hes one of THE best metal bassists, and id look forward to you making suggestions as to whose better).... and btw, can YOU play this, this well sir?..... no, didnt think so. so shut up.

Because I think he loves slap technique more than every other technique for bass, he hasn' t the attitude of a rock bass player or a metal bass player( Billy Sheehan, Geddy Lee, Jt for example), for me his touch ,his style, his sound too, are tipical of a funky- fusion bass player; but Magnus is so great with his bass! Sorry for my bad English

hallo me and magnus are friends and i can answer that question he didn´t feel the joy anymore to play in that band so he decided to go solo and + help out a couple of my friends band too hope your question is answered.
