A noir masterpiece. Love Robert Mitchum. One of my favourite all time actors. I'm hoping someone like the Criterion Collection can give this a DVD release.

Friend just attended an off broadway, NY, production... Naked Boys Singing. or something like that. (As their title conveys.. naked boys singing) Anchor song is their dedication to Robert Mitchum. Not sure how/why time passes so quickly. Was shocked when she/I were recalling memories as she said that very, very few of people in audience knew who he was. Seems as just yesterday he was young and dashing... born 1917.... Gracious!

@hottracksable I ran across a photo of Jean Simmons just last night and was rather thrown (again) at the thought of her passing. I liked Mitchum too. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit here. Thanks for the comment! :)
