  • Most people who commute into DC live in MD and VA which don't have the same averages. It's true some secure environments wouldn't be able to be accessed remotely. Already many Fridays are telecommute days around the DC area to reduce traffic. I wonder if someone can solve the remote security problem. Not every workday is equal and flexibility would make for a better work/home life. I think many gov people live by CYA rules and it's sad.

  • Yeah let's push all the Federal workers out of secure buildings using secure computers to their homes in and around DC which has 3x the national crime averages. Of course many of these workers have kids so no telling what P2P apps will get loaded on these computers but oh wait let's push these users onto Twitter and Facebook as well so they can pick up some bug from those sources.

  • Loved your comment. Its insightful :)

  • Awsome!!!! now the goverment can use the FCC and special intrist groups to distribute the relegious-mongoring media right into the ignorant americans homes FOR FREE!!!!! XD

now if only they can find a way to give americans a $100 computer from wal-mart and they are set!
