  • hey man your system straight slaps!!! i just ordered 4 of these subs and i have a hifonics amp BRZ1200.1d what box dimensions and amp settings should i use?

  • @ALL4ROIDS

Thanks! I never use the bass boost on any amp for starters. Turn your head unit up to where you normally have it set and then start turning the gain up on your amp. As far as box dimensions go I cannot help you as I don't design boxes. There are plenty of people who can design you a box though. Hop on Car Audio Classifieds . org

  • I cant beilive you did it before me... is it worth the time and money? I honest just wanna be like my 200 dollar set up out pounds your 1200 dollar set up! Please let me know! :D

  • @lolhaze12

Yeah it was/is worth it. I dont think these things would fair that good with low tuning, so I would keep it above 35hz. And yeah definitely shit all over some $2k-$3k setups...

  • @annarbor84 sweet do you still have them? And how long did they last? Ima do this with their new HFX series so i think i can get low :D

  • @lolhaze12

No they have been out for sometime now. I have 3 15"s in the trunk currently. Those Hifonics subs lasted until I pulled them out, probably ran them for 6 months with no problems at all.

  • now u need to play 6 12's by webbie in your car

  • @snoop6604 These Hfi12d4s cannot compete with Cvr's, but still a good budget buy.

  • @annarbor84 Yeah, that's what I figured, I'm the same way, nothing lasts more than 9 months in anything I drive. haha

Good little speakers for the price, I figure if I burn one, I have 4 more waiting to go in, and when I run out, I'll just buy more. All the installs I've done mine and other peoples none have fried yet. Thats saying a lot cause I pound the hell out of em.
